The Church of Euthanasia explores the media's coverage of 9/11, juxtaposing it with and underlining its similarities to that of spectator sports and pornography. It can be seen as a criticism of the American public's willful ignorance of world affairs, and its undeserved complacency in the time leading up to the attacks, which it will ultimately not learn from.
