Ken, a newspaper carrier attends college without registering. Haru was watching Ken steal a piece of bone from an archeology laboratory, "Never gotten someone so closely". They hold earch other on the street in the mid-night. Just as they begin to live together, Ken gets caught on stealing again. An associate professor, Shikishima entices Ken into his research instead of rebuking. One night, Shikishima comes to Haru to confess that she resembles his dead girlfriend.
